Jeff Fultz’s long list of career accomplishments in racing is nothing short of spectacular. In fact, most racers would love to have had just a fraction of the success that Fultz has had in his brief racing career.
Fultz, also known to many in the racing community as “Fultzy," continued to add to his racing resume in 2006 by taking on a new venture, the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series where he has found success securing one pole position and numerous top-10 finishes.
In 2005, Fultz added some more impressive stats to his career totals by earning his third NASCAR Southeast
Series (formerly the NASCAR All Pro Series) championship. Not only was it his third championship, but it was his second-straight in the Southeast Series and his third in the last four years (2002, 2004, & 2005).
After running locally in a variety of local classes, Fultz joined the Southeast Series full-time in 1997. However, in 1996, before becoming a full-timer with the series, he picked up his first of 26 career Southeast Series wins. Throughout the late-90s and well into the new century, Fultz proved he was a force to be reckoned with on the Tour. With his four wins in 2005, Fultz became the all-time wins leader in the Southeast Series, knocking Wayne Anderson off that prestigious pedestal. In addition to all of his wins, Fultz has 59 career top-5 and 90 top-10 finishes (in 138 starts).
Fultz’s career success hasn’t only come behind the wheel of a Southeast Series car either. In ARCA RE/MAX Series competition, Fultz has earned four top-10 finishes in eight career starts, including a victory at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in 2002. One year later, he backed it up by finishing second at Lowe’s. Jeff also has seven career NASCAR Busch Series starts, with a best finish of 16th coming at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in 2003.
In 2007 Fultz and the JCR3 Racing team look to be take what they learned from their impressive rookie year in the series and put that together for a successful campaign towards the 2007 USAR Hooters Pro Cup Championship.
Away from the track, Fultz works as a fabricator for Ginn Racing, which fields cars in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series for Joe Nemechek, Sterling Marlin and Mark Martin. Jeff is a native of Cincinnati, OH, and is married to his wife Angela. They have three children, Billy, Jonathon and Carlee.
