“Fultzy” Struggles at Southern National Raceway Park
Team Struggles To All Night Long
Jeff Fultz is a champion.  He hates to lose.  He hates to struggle.

That’s why Jeff Fultz hated Saturday night’s Sears 250 at Southern National Raceway Park.  The former NASCAR Southeast Series Champion and current USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series rookie started and finished 31st.
“I just hate to come to a track and race like this,” said Fultz.  “We really just struggled all day long.  We couldn’t get the car right no matter what we tried.  We were having problems the whole day.  We qualified poorly and then we just couldn’t get it going in the race.  We ran around the back there and couldn’t go anywhere.  We came in and did some work on the thing, but we just decided to park it.

“I just hate it because you feel like you’ve wasted a whole weekend when you can’t get the problems figured out.  We’ll take the car back to the shop and get the thing right, I have no doubt about that.  This entire team works their butt off and we won’t have another weekend like this.”
Fultz struggled at Southern National Saturday.
The series will now take several weeks off until getting back into action.  The series will return to the track on August 12th at Peach State Speedway in Jefferson, GA.
