Jeff Fultz had a really good run the last time headed to Myrtle Beach Speedway with the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series. Since that time he had a monkey on his back, with bad luck preventing him from bringing home the wins and finishes that the former champion is used to.
He hopes for a change in that this week at Myrtle Beach.
“I really enjoy the beach,” said Fultz. “We have run a lot of
races there before, and we just about won the Pro Cup race
there the last time we were there, that seems to be the last
time we ran good.
“I am pretty pumped up to go there. Hopefully we can get this
darn monkey off of our backs. We have just had so much bad
lately. The guys have been working pretty hard. We broke a
motor so we fixed it and we are ready to go back. We won a
lot of All Pro races there so hopefully we will have a little bit of
luck that we haven’t had lately and at least get us a good finish. If we can’t win the thing, a good finish would be really nice.”
